For those fortunate enough to own one of the newer Intel Macs... GOOD NEWS. I've just added iRed Lite to the Free software list which greatly extends the use for that tiny Apple remote. This app allows the remote to control many system actions and programs, including PowerPoint. Comes in very handy for presentations in and out of the classroom. The remote buttons can also be mapped to applescripts (the possibilities are endless).
