Printable Nurse Log With Signatures |
Description:This page was created for my nurses who have not yet embraced the paperless office. They requested an easy way to print out the nurse log kept in powerschool with their signature on the page. I'm not sure if anyone else would benefit from the signature function, but it could be easily removed from the page. The real benefit is the button on the upper right of the log page which will reformat all the visible log entries for the student and open them in a new window along with some other basic information. This of course works just as well for discipline logs. |
Installation:1. Download and unzip the page "log.html"2. Copy the page to powerschool folder/data/custom/web_root/admin/student/ on your server 3. If you wish to use the signature feature create a folder called "signatures" in Applications/powerschoolpro/system/server/resources/web_root/admin/students/ and put all the jpg files of the scanned signatures in the folder. Then alter the signature drop down on the log.html page to include the names of all the people who have a signature in your folder. It is also worth noting that you could use any image you want in the signatures drop-down, so long as it has a corresponding jpg file in the signatures folder. As an example, one could make a image which said "strictly confidential" in big bold letters, and have it available so a dean could select it if they where printing a student's discipline log. |
