Web-Based Grade Verification System |
Description:Another tool in the never-ending battle to save paper. This zip file is a set of custom pages which gives teachers the ability to see, from their PowerTeacher web page, exactly what the system has recorded for their grades. Once installed, each class in PowerTeacher will have a new magnifying glass icon in the navigation bar. The icon brings you to the verification page for that class. Initially the page will display what the system has in as current grades for the class in every term. The displayed grades can be limited to a specific term via the drop-down on the page.This system was created to eliminate the need to print grade verification sheets at the office at the end of each term. A Few Notes:- The grades displayed are pulled from a teacher's CURRENT grades inside PowerGrade. So grade verification should be done before grades are stored for the term.- I have created two sets of pages. One for districts that run on quarter terms, and one for districts that have both quarter and semester classes. If your setup is different, you can always alter the "tlist" tag in each page to filter by your terms. - The pages assume you are using the syntax "Q1", "Q2", etc for quarter abbreviations. And "S1", "S2" for semesters. - I can't find a way to filter out the grade records for students that have left mid quarter. This is why the enrollment column is there to point out students which have un enrolled. |
Installation:1. Download the appropriate zip file for your setup: Quarters Only Quarters and Semesters2. Copy all the pages to powerschool folder/data/custom/web_root/teachers/ on your server |
